I've always had sensitive, acne-prone skin and it has led me to research any and everything about skin health. After all of my research, I knew exactly what I wanted my skincare routine to look like. But I couldn't seem to find any products that met my standards. So, Lila Botanicals was born. For the last three years, I've used Lila products in addition to some other great brands. Here's a breakdown of my routine.

Cleansing Oil (Lila Botanicals) : I use my cleansing oil on days when I need to remove my make-up. It's light and doesn't cause breakouts, and it does an excellent job of cleansing without stripping the skin.

Lemongrass Facial Polish (evanhealy) : This facial polish is from evanhealy's Ayurvedic line. It definitely smells Ayurvedic and that might take some getting used to at first, but I promise it's worth it. I absolutely love this stuff! I usually cleanse with oil first, splash my face with water and then rub the facial polish in circles around my face to gently exfoliate.

Rose Geranium Facial Tonic (evanhealy) : The best-smelling hydrosol around, in my opinion. We all love this in my family. I use it as a toner after cleansing and before moisturizing, but it also serves as a pick-me-up when we're having a stressful or tired day. One spray and everything feels a little brighter.

Pure Nilotica Melt (LXMI) : I wrote a post about this and I'm honestly surprised by how much I love it -- considering it's only one ingredient. I'm on my second jar (a little goes a long way) and it won't be my last.

Regenerative Facial Serum (Lila Botanicals) : When I got back from Costa Rica, my skin was a mess. This is the serum I created to heal my inflamed skin while simultaneously treating the scarring on my cheeks. I made sure to choose ingredients that wouldn't cause new breakouts and everything is the highest quality that I could find. It worked magnificently and I still use it as my "moisturizer", alternating nights with the Pure Nilotica Melt.

For the rest of my body, I use organic sesame oil or Lila Botanicals Balm.
